Kameno, 90% zilavka and 10% bena, from the Kameno Vinogradi in Blizanci, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Kameno Vinogradi are the so-called stone vineyards, where the karst lies directly on the surface and has an enormous influence on the grapes and therefore also on the wine. The wine is therefore literally translated “Stone”.
Bright yellow-green color with a beautiful viscosity. Aromas of nuts, ripe peaches, melon, citrus and clear minerality. After a little more oxygen, grapefruit and green apple also emerge. In the mouth a lot of fruit, with a pleasantly fresh and at the same time warm taste. All this together makes for a beautiful and elegant wine.
Kameno combines well with cheese, fresh and saltwater fish, poultry and lamb. We recommend serving this wine at a temperature between 10 ° and 12 ° C.
Finalist Wine Competition 2015: category white between € 10 and € 15
