Adria HamÂ is a specialty comparable to the Spanish Serrano ham or the Parma ham from Italy. I
t is made from porcine porpoises and placed in salt water from the Adriatic Sea and cured.
For consumption the ham is cut into thin slices with a long sharp knife.
