Viognier Sur Lie 2020 from Chateau Kamnik in Skopje from North Macedonia
This wine is obtained from 100% Viognier grapes from our own vineyard and has a deep yellow, clear color. The fragrance, which is unique and elegant, reveals stone fruit aromas of nectarine and pear, complemented by notes of ginger biscuits. The uniqueness of this wine comes from the 10-month long contact with the 'fine lees', through the so-called 'sur lie' method that produces a complex bouquet. The taste is full of striking minerality and softness, followed by a long, harmonious finish.

The vineyards of Kamnik are located on the southern hills, looking over to Skopje in one direction and the mountain peaks in the background.
