De eerste bewaarde gegevens over Kiseljak zijn afkomstig uit de 16e eeuw, namelijk 1530, toen Kiseljak 'Sauer Brunnen' de Sloveense Benedikt Kuripe noemt in zijn beschrijving van de reis van het keizerrijk naar Carigrad, geschreven in het Duits. De eerste deskundige analyse van mineraalwater in Kiseljak werd uitgevoerd in 1886 door prof. The first preserved data on Kiseljak originate in the 16th century, namely 1530 when Kiseljak "Sauer Brunnen" mentions the Slovenian Benedikt Kuripe in his description of the journey of the Emperor's Empire to Carigrad written in German. The first expert analysis of mineral water in Kiseljak was carried out in 1886 by prof. E.Ludwig, a court consultant from Vienna, invited by the Bosnian government to study mineral water in Bosnia. According to his analysis, "this water belongs to those liquids that have the highest CO2, Glauber's salts and a substantial amount of iron; considering the composition this is a specialty among European mineral waters ".
On April 14, 1997, the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a professional opinion that Sarajevo Kiseljak helps with metabolic, hepatic, gallbladder and gallbladder diseases, digestive system diseases and kidney and urinary tract diseases.
